Cookie policy
This policy lists every cookie and every item of browser storage that Pletopay uses on pletopay.com, the dashboard, our payment pages, the checkout popup and the documentation. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and load no third-party scripts.

1.Why we do not ask for consent
We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in to the dashboard, and browser storage that remembers choices you make on your own device. Both are needed for the service you asked for, so the law does not require your consent for them. If we ever add a cookie that is not essential, we will ask first and list it here.
2.pletopay.com and the documentation
These sites set no cookies. Fonts are served from our own servers, and pages make no requests to other companies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| pletopay-www:lang | Local storage | Remembers the programming language you chose for code samples on this website | Until you clear it |
| pletopay-docs:lang | Local storage | Remembers the programming language you chose in the documentation | Until you clear it |
The API key you type into the documentation’s “Try it” panel is never stored.
3.The dashboard
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| pp_rt | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by scripts, is sent only over HTTPS and only to the dashboard’s sign-in endpoint. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| pletopay:org | Local storage | The business you last opened | Until you clear it |
| pletopay:mode:… | Local storage | Whether you were in test or live mode, for each business | Until you clear it |
| pletopay:sidebar | Local storage | Whether the sidebar is collapsed | Until you clear it |
| pletopay:balances-hidden | Local storage | Whether you chose to hide balances on screen | Until you clear it |
| pletopay:seen:… and pletopay:read:… | Local storage | Which notifications you have seen and opened | Until you clear it |
Your settings stay in your browser after you sign out. On a shared computer, clear the site’s data in your browser after signing out.
4.Payment pages and the checkout popup
Hosted checkout, payment links and invoice pages set no cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| pletopay:sent:… | Session storage | Remembers that you said you sent the money, so the page still shows this if you reload it | Until you close the tab |
The checkout popup opens our payment page in a frame on the business’s website. Our script stores nothing on the business’s website. Cookies the business sets itself are covered by its own policy.
5.Technical storage
If a page cannot load part of itself after we release an update, it reloads and briefly uses session storage (nuxt:reload) to restore where you were. This is removed automatically.
