Product

One platform for bank-transfer payments.

Collect bank transfers, move the money and run it all from one API and dashboard.

Collect

Every way to ask for a bank transfer: from your own code, from a hosted page, or from a link or invoice you share.

Bank-transfer collection

Your server creates a payment with an amount in kobo, your own reference and the customer, and gets back the account number to show.

The exact amount is enforced by the partner bank. The payment window is between 5 minutes and 3 hours, 30 minutes by default.

Virtual accounts

Create a dedicated account for a customer and every transfer into it becomes a succeeded payment for them, or let each payment create its own single-use account.

One dedicated account per customer by default. Account numbers are issued by the partner bank.

Payment confirmation

The partner bank reports each credit, and Pletopay also reads the bank’s records directly, so a missed notification cannot lose a payment.

Timing depends on the partner bank. In practice confirmation follows the transfer within seconds; there is no guaranteed time.

Hosted checkout

Create a checkout session from your server and redirect the customer, or open the same page in a popup on your own site.

Sessions expire with the payment window. The page is hosted by Pletopay.

Invoices

Draft an invoice with line items, finalise it and send it. The customer pays by transfer from the hosted invoice page.

Invoices are paid by bank transfer only.

Recurring invoices

With conditions

Define a plan, subscribe a customer, and each billing cycle issues an invoice for the customer to pay by transfer.

Nothing is debited automatically. The subscription tracks what is paid and what is overdue.

Move money

What happens after a payment is confirmed: settlements to your bank, refunds, splits for partners and transfers out.

Settlements

Confirmed payments add their net amount to your balance. Settle daily, weekly or monthly in Lagos time, or settle now from the dashboard.

Settlements go to a verified bank account. A minimum settlement amount applies.

Read the docs

Refunds

Refund a succeeded payment in full or in part. The money goes back to the account it came from.

Only confirmed payments can be refunded. The bank’s transfer cost is passed through; Pletopay charges no fee of its own.

Subaccounts and splits

Create subaccounts for sellers or partners and a split rule by percentage or flat amount, then attach it to a payment, checkout, link or invoice.

Splits apply to the net amount after fees.

Transfers

With conditions

Look up the recipient’s account name, request a quote with the exact cost, and send. Transfers report their final state by webhook.

Live transfers are enabled per business after verification.

Operate

The tools your team and your systems use to keep up with the money.

Signed webhooks

Register an endpoint and choose the events you want. Each delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and a timestamp.

Failed deliveries retry for up to six hours. An endpoint that keeps failing is paused until you re-enable it.

Statements and reports

Request a report for a date range and download the CSV when it is ready. Settlement detail lists every payment in a payout.

A report covers up to a year at a time.

Team roles and MFA

Invite colleagues with a role, or build a custom role from the permission list. Sensitive actions ask for a fresh code.

Owners and administrators manage roles.

Test mode and sandbox

Your test key talks to the same API as your live key, and you can simulate an incoming transfer to see the whole flow end to end.

Live mode opens after business verification is approved.

Read the docs

See it with your own test key.

Sign up, build in test mode, and simulate the whole flow before your business is verified.
